The Good Lobby

The Good Lobby is a non-profit organisation that strengthens democracy and the common good by amplifying the voice of civil society and supporting citizens and organisations in decision-making processes.

Following an earlier collaboration on the 2020 report, LS studio designed the layout and visual system for the 2021–2024 Impact Report.

The Good Lobby Italy supports citizens, activists, and civil society organisations engaged in civic lobbying and advocacy through incubation and training programmes, public-interest campaigns, consultancy and community building.

These activities provide the skills, tools, and networks needed to monitor public institutions, influence decision-making and defend democratic space.

The project builds on The Good Lobby’s existing visual identity, which features hand-drawn graphic elements such as lines, arrows and underlines combined with a bright, vibrant colour palette. These characteristics contribute to a civic, participatory, and non-institutional tone.

LS studio expanded and structured the visual language to guide readers throughout the report. Hand-drawn elements highlight key sections and support the narrative flow, particularly in sections describing activities and campaigns.

The graphic elements also add a human touch, reflecting the organisation’s participatory ethos and reinforcing the report’s role as a tool for public engagement.

The report is organised into four main chapters, with typography selected to ensure clarity and visual harmony.
The ABC Stefan typeface by Dinamo (↗) was paired with the hand-drawn elements to maintain cohesion across the layout.
Infographics and diagrams present numerical data clearly and accessibly, while thoughtful spacing and visual hierarchy guide the reader through each section.
